Dear Sound Friends:
On Saturday, July 19, 2003, there will be a Live Webcast starting at 5 pm (NY Time) from the Healing Sounds Intensive in Loveland Colorado via World Puja. This will be a planetary first, in which, by the magic of the internet, people from throughout the world will be able to join us for the completion of the Group Merkaba of Sound.
Here is a daily sonic practice that I would like to recommend to you that will assist with personal and planetary healing—particularly for those who will be joining us via the World Puja Webcast on July 19, 2003 at 5 pm (NY Time) for the Merkaba of Sound Experience at the Healing Sounds Intensive, or for anytime when you want to generate planetary healing sounds. This is a simple, yet powerful sonic practice. Please practice it each day at noon (your local time) for greatest results.
1). Begin by slowly and deeply breathing in and out through your heart. Breath in through your heart, feeling a deep sense of compassion and appreciation. Then breath out through your heart feeling this compassion and appreciation. Do this several times as you fill yourself with peace and light.
2). Sound forth with 7 AUMs.
When you sound the AUM, vocalize it was a 3 syllable sound (AH-OO-MM). Feel the AH sound resonating your heart center, the OO sound resonating your throat center and the MM sound resonating your crown center. Visualize the colors of pink and gold in your chakras during this resonance along with the feeling of compassion and appreciation. With the AUM sounded in this manner, you are generating the vibrations of Divine Love (Heart Center), Divine Sound (Throat Center) and Divine Wisdom (Crown Center). As you feel the energy in these centers, focus your intention on projecting personal and planetary healing sounds from yourself to the planet and all sentient beings. These energies—the feeling, visualization and intention—will harmonize outward, resonating all in the radiance of peace and love.
Remember:
- Frequency + Intent = Healing
- Vocalization + Visualization = Manifestation
- Frequency + Feeling = Effect
Thus, the consciousness you generate onto the sound will assist and enhance the energy of the sound that you generate. The intention, visualization and feeling you experience and project will greatly influence the effect of the sound. Sounding the AUM in this manner will truly create a beneficial effect on both a personal and a planetary level.
3). Be in a state of silence for a few minutes after you have created these 7 AUMs. In this silence is when the greatest frequency shifts occur. Be as grateful and appreciative as possible for this opportunity to assist the Earth. Know that you have made a difference.
Incidentally, whenever I work with sound in this manner, I begin by an invocation to Shamael, the Angel of Sacred Sound. I would like to share that with you:
